Testimonial: Couple from Cornvallis, Oregon Enjoy Niagara Falls IMAX

My husband and I and another couple we are close with had been planning on taking a vacation together for quite some time. Because none of us had ever been to Niagara Falls, we decided to spend a couple of days there. We arrived, checked into our hotel and got settled. All of us wanted to get a good look at the falls, so we took a walk down by the falls and snapped some photos.
After spending some time exploring the falls, we then headed out to Niagara on the Lake, where we had dinner and saw a wonderful play. We started off the next day with a nice breakfast, and went to do the Journey Behind the Falls. This was great because we got to see the falls right up close, and we really enjoyed going through the tunnels and seeing the falls from different vantage points.
After the Journey Behind the Falls we headed over to the Maid of the Mist. This was an absolute blast! We’d heard from other people that it was a really fun attraction, and they were certainly correct! We all had a great time, and I was amazed at how powerful the falls are after seeing them up close. After the Maid of the Mist we had a nice lunch and then headed over to the IMAX. Everyone really loved the IMAX, especially because it gave us some historical background on Niagara Falls.  We learned things we may have never learned had we not seen the film. The IMAX technology was a real treat as well. Seeing the falls on the IMAX screen was a real delight. My favorite part of the IMAX film was the daredevil stories, especially Annie Taylor, the schoolteacher that went over and survived.
After the IMAX we went through the Daredevil Museum, which was really interesting as well. I especially loved it because I got more detailed information on the individual daredevils. After the Daredevil Museum we went back to the hotel, relaxed a bit, then headed over to the canal and watched the ships come in. I’d have to say we had a wonderful time at Niagara Falls and the best part was just seeing the falls for the first time with my own eyes – what a breathtaking sight!
