End of an Era for Niagara Maid of the Mist

Thursday October 24th, 2013 is a historic day for Niagara Falls, Canada.  Today is the last day of operation for Maid of the Mist after 167 years sailing from the Canadian falls. Hornblower Niagara Cruises will operate on the Canadian side of the gorge starting next spring after the Glynn family, Maid of the Mist owners since 1971 lost the rights.
